Community Building - An Idea Whose Time Has Come!"

- Introduction -
What is Folk Building? Folk Building is building the foundation for an Autonomous Folk Community.
It means that we start working now to create a foundation that can support future action. Whatever that action may be.
We need to as a Folk start building grassroots, locally with our Local Racialist Folk. This doesn’t mean we have to all live on a ‘compound’ or on a 120 acre lot…this does mean that we start making a concerted effort to work with our local Folk, our local Friends.
It means that we separate ourselves mentally from dysfunctional societal thought. We need to free our minds from this filth of society. Stop watching their destructive shows, stop buying their cheap trinkets in their crass stores, stop ‘trying to keep up with the Jones’. Stop buying into the ideals spoon fed to us about how we have a duty to uphold America and her ideals. We need to totally reject what we have been led to believe and start being concerned with our Folk, Our Race.
We are dying, both physically in numbers, but more so mentally. They have captured our peoples mind, body and soul…and through Folk Building we can slowly and steadily get it back.
This can only be done on a local level. We need to locally build up our Folk. Through your friends and family, you can start building a strong local community. A network that extends across your city or your state. Eventually this strong foundation of a network can grow into town, or an area, or what have you. Our local Folk cells can start networking together like Vancouver Washington can network with Canada or Oregon groups to support one another on large projects.
This doesn’t mean that we have to like each other…it just means that we cooperate. It doesn’t mean that we have to embrace each others politics it means that we cooperate on common goals and jobs. It means that when we work together we don’t care what you go home too, just that you continue with the Folk building efforts in YOUR area.
The following are just a few of the Folk Building Ideas, Sigrdrifa issue #18, is FULL of ideas, but again this is only a beginning. The Folk need to take these ideas and turn them into action…into the future.
- Examples of Folk Building…
Starting a study group with fellow kindred, or a heritage study group—we as a Folk need to educate our selves and immerse ourselves in European culture. Things such as book clubs for Neitzche or Edda studies, Folk centered book studies, Saga studies, etc… Many of our Folk already know our racial problems, but lack ‘Soul’ …we need to all be more in touch with our heritage and more importantly immerse our children in our Rich Culture and heritage. It is also a great way to get to know your local Folk, gets you challenging your beliefs and in turn strengthening them. It’s a great way to get children involved in Our Ways and the Ways of our People. Throw around ideas about becoming autonomous and becoming strong like our Ancestors.
Clothing Exchange programs—This is a way to support our Families. How many people here shop at good will or consignment stores, etc…? I do…wouldn’t
it be better to just exchange your used clothes with other racialists
who need what you have and you need what they have? This is a form of
Barter and Exchange but it takes the money and power away from the System
and gives our Folk INDEPENDENCE. If there are single mothers or fathers in your area that have to work overtime to make ends meet, then this type of program can take the burden off them in finding quality used items for their children. Sigrdrifa has Seconds Please! Through its success we have expanded into Adult items, special holiday programs, and as we strengthen our base we will grow even more. With every family we help and other groups help that is a family we have rescued from the System and its tight grasp.
This idea can be small or large depending on each Folk Communities situation.
Alternative Economy—in order for our people to become autonomous
we need to separate ourselves financially from the System.
Leftists, hippies, etc… have this form of Folk Building down to a
science. PAZ or Permanent Autonomous Zones are a bunch of hippies that have taken it upon themselves to create an alternative economy. They only buy their things, grow their own food, support their own farmers, work their own land, support their own businesses etc.
We need to do that, we need to support our people. We need to actively look for ways to start up our own businesses, we need to look into buying land that we can secure our own food sources, we need to create a society for our Folk where none exists now.
We have enough CD distributors, we have enough newsletters, we need to
step into a new realm and start our own society and totally reject the system and no longer buy into their idea of successful, or their idea of self sufficient. The biggest threat to government is NOT buying into their economy anymore. We need to create our own economy. Through this economy we can support our own people and stop supporting the Fed with paying their taxes and buying their trinkets. Some great ways to start Building the foundation of an alternative economy is to stop buying retail. Use thrift stores, garden, become part of a clothing exchange program, make what you could buy, barter and exchange with your friend who is a carpenter or an electrician...and if you have to go to outside help, choose a local businessperson...see if another Folk Community that you network with has a required skill…work with your Folk. You could also take a look around your house…what do you have that you could make or reuse. Look through the classifieds and see if there is quality used items that you could get and quit going to Wal-Mart or the mall. One huge benefit is that you will save money and you could take that money
and funnel it back into our Cause.
Education—This is key to any successful society. Home schooling is the
most beneficial way to start helping your Folk. Children are our future
leaders…they will take the torch passed from our generation. What better education then one from a loving parent who knows their strength and weaknesses, who is willing to discipline them and reward them according
to their successes. This is where we need to begin. You know what will
happen YOU will become educated in the process. Since I have been home schooling my children I have learned more then I ever learned in all my schooling. I know more about the world around human nature, Nature and me
in general. We are strengthening our whole family through the tough and gratifying act of home schooling. Although tough we must do this for our children and our Folk.
Education of ourselves is also very important. We need to educate
ourselves. Our Folk need our own doctors, lawyers, business people,
carpenters, electricians, EVERYTHING. In order to build a society we
need educated people to lay the foundation. Education also opens up
options especially for women who may lose their husbands or boyfriends.
For a friend, a single mother of two children, education is giving her
the option to work from home. This must be kept in mind with the rate
our men are being incarcerated.
Richard Kemp related that when The Order men where put in prison, the
wives, girlfriends, families were left with out any means to really
support themselves. He was glad to see that educated women are coming
to the forefront, but we need to keep that up…we have to be independent.
Conclusion...
Folk building requires WORK. Are we up to it? I think so. I see many able bodied people willing to take back our Folk, our Land, our very being. It is up to this generation to secure the Future of our Folk.
