ROMANIA ARISE!

Iron Guard

Despite decades of Communist economic imperialism, it proved impossible to strip Romania of the spirit of Western Culture. Oppressive regimes and doctrines were not enough to rob the People or the Soil of the collective memory of Pan-Europa. It was impossible for young people with just a little knowledge of their heritage to walk through Bucharest, along the Dambovita or Black Sea, or in the Carpathians, without feeling that they could never be truly loyal to the alien creed which came from the East; the spirit of Romania reverberates in the soul like Enesco's Romanian Rhapsodies.

Yet a new alien creed is now encroaching from the West: Americanism. America's message to young Romanians is more subtle: comforting, passive, and sloganistic promises rather than demanding, aggressive, and sloganistic threats. But sloganism remains primary. And in spite of the glorious cultural renaissance brought about by the fall of the Iron Curtain, life in Romania can still become just as financialized by American values as it was by Soviet values: The Iron Umbrella.

In American/United Nations apparatchik semantics, the words "democracy," "human rights," and "peace" mean the total domination of the World Trade Organization and World Bank; whereas the words "dictatorship," "ethnic cleansing," "terrorism" denote all actions that subvert the totality of this domination. Until Perestroika is complete, Glasnost is dangerous, because the United Nations is the last refuge of financial scoundrels. In the famous words of East German Secretary General Erich Honecker: "Europe will not survive the Third World War;" it will become a collection of American states. No Romanian should ever forget that fateful day in the Tancabesti wood in November 1938, nor the betrayal at Yalta or the Winter Solstice Revolution of 1989.

The dilemma of 20th century political activists "Reform or Revolution?" - is not the dilemma of the Romanian opposition to Globalism today. To believe in overthrowing the friendly dictatorship of economic imperialism by brute force and to organize actions in pursuit of this goal is both unrealistic and dangerous; the result of an egregious misinterpretation of the very nature of the problem. As the economic agenda remains hidden behind democratic masks and relies upon herd-mentality ploys, it is uninsightful to count on overthrowing it outright. In a certain sense, the enemy is ourselves. Nevertheless, we must recall those titans who gave themselves fully to Romania's struggles in the past: Petru Rare, Avram Iancu, General Milea, Constantin Pacu, Ion I. Mota, Radu Mironovici, Marian Munteanu, Corneliu Codreanu and many others.

The new Evil Empire must be, like the cancer it is, first fully understood and then subverted from the roots. Such a daunting task requires a radical revaluation of society and a subsequent construction of a whole new order: what can be called a Collateral Culture. The Collateral Culture will be the existential homeland of any activity which takes place independently of the program of the Globalist agenda. Phi-Corps obviously lives in this realm, and so do all culture-philosophers, Third Position thinkers, accultured artists and musicians, Spiritual visionaries, and all manner of teachers who reject Political Correctness in lieu of Truth. Let us meet regularly on the peaks of the Rarau Mountain, at Campul-Lung near Petru Rare's; hermitage and recite the poetry of Vasile Alecsandri and sing the Legionary Hymn of the Iron Guard: "From heavy, hard hammer strokes Bent over by hunger and want, From slag of furnace and of boilers, Hungry we raise ourselves, and naked.
From lightning we will build a new country. On great anvils over the centuries From sacrifice and from hammer blows We will forge for ourselves a destiny of Iron!"

If the newly-restored soil of Romania is an ideological battlefield on which some of the first skirmishes in the undeclared war of Money vs. Culture is to be fought, who shall be the soldiers? Who will form the new Legionaries of the Iron Guard? The answer is simple: Cultural Activists must assume this duty, and utilize as their arsenal the weapons of the soul: science, spirituality, art, community, family, individuality, integrity. These are the tools with which a Vanguard has always chipped away at the edifice of tyranny, and just as they thwarted and defeated the economic imperialism of Communism, so they can be victorious over the nascent imperialism of Capitalism. For the Resurrection of the Nation! Pentru Legionari!

Faced with yet another invading and leveling creed whose survival depends on the citizenry surrendering its self-respect and autonomy, on giving up its heritage and honor in order to enjoy comfort and things, the most devastating weapons at the Cultural Activists disposal are Truth and Duty. New, new, new is the star of Third Positionism, and there is no post-modernity outside it!

We Will Conquer"

"Listen how the horn sounds in the mountains while all round you there is only torment! Pluck up courage and rise you who have been schooled in the old ways, and enter the fight with determination. For, those who want to lose the country have gone astray like swarms of grasshoppers and made the frontiers ever smaller. Whether you be in a mountain valley, on the foothills, on the peaks, in deep ravines, or on the plains which extend to the horizon, do not delay to answer its call.

In the Legion we are thousand upon thousand Men, fine youths, even children. In every one of our hearts the same longing simmers: our ancestral earth as far as the Dniester, from the Tisa and the old Ister with all its endless treasures to be ours alone in future.

Listen! Are you satisfied that all the sacrifices of those who died on the Front, have been consumed like smoke in the breeze? While strangers brought by the wind, masters of all that gold and silver can buy, exploit the village up to the eyes and in towns and palaces, garishly illuminated? Rise now, Romanian! And march with us in the Legion and you will feel the sacred thrill of determination And the blessing of those in the grave."

-Petre C. Stefan, Leader of the Balcesti-Arges Nest, 5th of March, 1933

The Phi-Corps explores the genuine past, present, and future of civilizations from within, and devoid of modern economic-imperialist-globalist propaganda. Adopting a perspective of cultural relativity and Third Way political ideology, the Phi-Corps transcends orthodox unilinear ledger-book history and presents culturocentric historiographical insights as experienced by genuine Cultural Activists. Our Way is neither Left nor Right; but forward. Join Us!

"If it happened once due to Communism, shame on them; if it happens again due to Capitalism, shame on us."
